For my Rotary youth exchange I will spend 2013 in Switzerland. From my exchange I hope to gain a new out look on life and gain insite on a new culture. I hope to gain greater independence and more confidence. I am looking forward to learning about life in another culture and living day to day in someone elses shoes, I am excited to be learning a new language and meeting new people and gaining life long friends. Also I am proud to be an ambassador for New Zealand and teach others about our culture and a bit about how I live where I'm from. I hope to gain knowledge and life experiences which I will never forget and help me later in life. I am up for the challenges ahead and I can't wait !
