I am very excited about the exchange and can't believe it is actually becoming a reality! For the most part I definitely would like to become fluent in French after having studied it during college and I am extremely grateful to have the opportunity to familiarise myself with the French culture, and what life is like outside of New Zealand. I am looking forward to meeting heaps of new people and broadening my horizons for inspiration in my future. I think the fact that I will be able to call France home whilst I am away is truly cool and to fully be immersed in something different such as the school system, will for sure make me more mature and independent. Thankyou Rotary for this amazing chance and I really appreciate this experience to be an ambassador for both New Zealand and Rotary.
