I am spending 2012 in Nagoya, Japan. I chose Japan because I am interested in the culture and language. From this experience I hope to gain a true insight into home and school life which I would never get the opportunity to experience as I tourist. Other things I would like to achieve on my exchange are improving my Japanese, meeting new people, teaching people about New Zealand and gaining more independence
