As a Rotary Exchange Student to Belgium, I hope to become fluent in French and to learn about Belgian culture and their way of life. I hope to strengthen the existing links New Zealand already has with Belgian Rotary Clubs as well as give them an understanding of what it means to be a 'Kiwi'.
I look forward to immersing myself in Belgian life and the challenges 2011 bring as well as the opportunity to make lifelong friends. I am sure the year will provide me with many experiences as well as a whole new perspective on life.
